Fantasy Dreams, Reality Bites…
Thursday, June 16th, 2005Partners for life… Partners in Crime… Partners in love…
You name it, every single human being would do well in having someone by their side to share accomplishments and achievements. I praise the people who have someone to share such a privilege. For this is rare, especially in their most darkest hours. In good times and in bad times, having someone share and hear you out is something that takes the load of your back.
But most probably, some people do not deserve to have one. People can long to have partners, but it takes divine strength to go through it all, especially in hard times of their lives. People would say these people are cocky and egotistical people. But take a look deeper. Maybe its because they just dont want to get hurt by facing rejection, or worse, being laughed at.
People do not deserve to be alone. Sometimes this happens in a mid life crisis. Feeling sorry for themselves and wishing upon a star may occur. But unfortunately, these people need to go strong and pour out their energy towards something else. These people are not emotional dreamers. They just want to be realistic in facing reality and leave the dreams to their sleep. This way, waking up after a dream of extreme perfection will not hurt, since dreams are lasting moments in a respite trance.
A true mature person moves on. He perceives and accepts what is to happen. Rejection may no longer strike hard in this way. For in this manner, getting ready for the worst scenario may not be as painful, as falling in love and being laughed upon, for letting sincere emotions get the best of peoples’ lives.
